Whether you’re looking to relax in paradise or enjoy some of the best water activities, like snorkeling, parasailing, and scuba diving, you’re sure to find your perfect vacation spot. Here are our top 5 recommendations for beaches in the Bahamas!

White Sand Beach

The most popular beach is White Sand Beach on the island of Eleuthera. It is a beautiful white sand beach with crystal clear water and natural coral reefs that are great for snorkeling. The best time to visit is during the low season when it is less crowded.

This is definitely one of my favorite beaches in the Bahamas and it is high on my list of places to visit when I plan my next vacation. It is clean, beautiful, and located on a perfect little island called Eleuthera. This island has several other beaches to choose from but this one stood out to me the most because it was so quiet, calm and easy going. Other people like more of a party atmosphere which is why they will enjoy some of the other locations more than this one.

Blue Lagoon Beach

This is one of the best beaches in the Bahamas due to its natural beauty and serene atmosphere. It’s a good idea to visit this beach on a weekday because it will be much less crowded. The waves are gentle, which is great for swimming, and there are trees lining the water that provide shade from the sun. If you’re looking for some peace and quiet during your next trip to the Bahamas, then this is one beach you can’t miss!

Gold Rock Beach

Located on Eleuthera Island, Gold Rock Beach is a hidden gem. If you’re looking for sun, sand and some of the clearest waters this side of the globe, this is your place. The water is shallow and perfect for snorkeling. If you want to relax and unwind, take a walk over to Dinghy Dock Bar where you can enjoy a cold drink as well as watch sunsets with your loved one.

Janet’s Beach

Janet’s Beach while Janet’s Beach has very strong currents, it is one of our top picks due to its breathtaking views. As a result of those strong currents, swimming here isn’t recommended but during summer, you may be able to swim if you venture out early in the morning.

Pirate’s Cove Beach

If you love nature and seclusion, this is the beach for you. It’s completely deserted so go prepared with food and water. The sand here is a beautiful light tan color and there are little pools of water on either side of the beach that make it feel like you’re visiting one of those romantic islands from a book or movie. These two pools are connected by a hidden cave that’s only accessible at low tide so plan your visit accordingly. The best part about this beach?
